জ্যামিতি:-জ্যামিতি হল, পাটিগণিতের সাথে, গণিতের প্রাচীনতম শাখাগুলির মধ্যে একটি। এটি স্থানের বৈশিষ্ট্যগুলির সাথে সম্পর্কিত যা দূরত্ব, আকৃতি, আকার এবং চিত্রগুলির আপেক্ষিক অবস্থানের সাথে সম্পর্কিত। একজন গণিতবিদ যিনি জ্যামিতির ক্ষেত্রে কাজ করেন তাকে জিওমিটার বলা হয়।
